Show garden “THE MINDSET”

RHS GOLD MEDAL, Malvern Spring Festival 2019

The garden is divided into two contrasting parts to represent two different worlds   – one grey and lifeless the other flourishing and joyful. People can experience either depending on the priorities they set.

The central element of the garden represents the brain’s cerebrum. The color and shape of it illustrate the human’s mindset – lifeless or joyful and full of life. The sculpture of a child is to remind us that decisions we make directly affect our children.

The lifeless concrete cerebrum is turning into gloomy megapolis towers showing how we sacrifice the environment for the sake of instant benefits. Unfortunately, too often people make this choice…

However, I believe we still have a chance to change the direction. By changing our own mindsets and putting the right “programs” in our children’s heads. Bright thoughts create the bright world around!
